The Kawaihae Local Resource Council meets 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 7 at the Hamakua Macadamia Nut Factory, 1/2 mile north of Kawaihae on Aina Pule Highway.

Dr. Bill Walsh, affiliated faculty with UH Hilo and Manoa, will give a pictorial historical and ecological overview of the Kawaihae South Small Boat Harbor.
