The Beach Boys to open the 2010 Waikoloa Nights Concert Series

“And we’ll have fun, fun, fun………” when celebrated surfing band The Beach Boys performs at the Waikoloa Bowl at Queens’ Gardens at Waikoloa Beach Resort on Valentine’s night Sunday, February 14th as part of the Waikoloa Nights concert series. The concert will be the first performance from the band on the Big Island and will appeal to audiences young and old. The performance produced by Waikoloa Entertainment, TC Entertainment and The Event Group begins at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the much-anticipated concert are on sale now and are priced at a special $49 kama’aina rate for locals, $59 for general admission and $85 for VIP seating (can only be purchased online). Prices not including applicable ticketing fees, can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or www.waikoloanights.com. Tickets are also available to purchase in person at CD Wizard and Big Island Surf in Hilo; Big Island Surf in Waimea; Tropical Smoothie Café in Kona and Persimmon at Queens’ MarketPlace at the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

The Beach Boys have been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years. With a repertoire of number one songs such as “Surfing USA,” “California Girls,” “Good Vibrations” and “Kokomo” the band has devotees spanning decades from around the world.
