Christmas Wish Program asks for donations

MEDIA RELEASE

The Christmas Wish Program is hosting a holiday party with Santa for 300 of the Big Island’s homeless keiki.

Organizers hope parties on the Big Island and on Oahu will make the holidays special for more than 450 homeless children.

The Christmas Wish Program is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations and sponsorships.

Much of the program’s inventory – decorations, games, crafts and even Candycane Lane – were destroyed in a storm earlier this year.

Donations may be made online or mailed.

The Big Island party is slated for Dec. 15; the Oahu date is Dec. 23.

Donations may be made at: www.firstgiving.com/christmassponsorship

Or mailed to Magin Patrick, Christmas Wish Program, P.O. Box 1844, Keaau, HI 96749. For further information, call (808) 982-8128 or 987-6018.
