The Walk for Family Nonviolence took over the street between Halawai to Kailua Pier on Friday evening.

In addition to residents were county staffers: Wally Lau, Deputy Managing Director, Barbara Kossow, Kona Office of the Mayor, Margaret Masunaga, Deputy Planning Director, Linda Walton and Kaua Jackson, Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys, Victim Counselors Jane Huntington, Cherith Cohn, and Chad Basque, Police Dept.

The event was organized by Kelly Shaw.
