Hawaiian Airlines joins FilCom Center in Manila relief effort

Hawaiian Airlines has announced the company is donating $5 from the proceeds of each ticket sold in Hawaii by Hawaiian for its service between Honolulu and Manila during the month of October to the FilCom Center’s Manila relief fund to help victims of the recent flooding.

Separately, Hawaiian has initiated its own internal fundraising drive for families of employees and vendors in Manila affected by the flooding. The company is contributing the first $10,000 into the special fund and is matching dollar-for-dollar any donations made by employees.

Hawaiian serves the Honolulu-Manila route with four nonstop flights weekly. Flight #455 departs Honolulu on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. and arrives in Manila the following day at 5:15 p.m.

Return Flight #456 departs Manila on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and arrives in Honolulu the same day at 11:15 a.m. (Manila is 18 hours ahead of Honolulu and the flight crosses the International Dateline.) 

Hawaiian operates the route using its wide-body, twin-aisle Boeing 767-300ER aircraft that seatup to 264 passengers, with 18 seats in First Class and the rest in Coach Class.
