Peace Day Parade in Honokaa Sunday

The third annual Parade & Festival for the United Nations International Day of Peace kicked-off Sunday at noon in Honokaa. Hundreds lined the streets and participated in the parade through the center of Honokaa town. The event continued with a community festival at Honokaa High School.

The World Peace Festival continues Monday, September 21, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kalani Oceanside Retreat, Pahoa. For information call Christian Hine 808-854-0407.
