First ever human pink ribbon slated for Waimea

MEDIA RELEASE

In an effort to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer, North Hawaii Community Hospital will be creating the first ever human pink ribbon.

Everyone is invited, dressed in his or her best pink, to participate in this event as we attempt to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

At 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, all dressed in pink will come together on the front lawn of the hospital to form the ribbon.

Pink tye-dye shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $10. All proceeds will go to Relay for Life of Waimea and Girls’ Night Out. Shirt orders are needed by Sept. 17.

For more information or to RSVP, call 881-4821 or e-mail rabidejm@nhch.com.
