UH-Hilo summer soccer camp July 20-24 in Kona, July 27-31 in Hilo

Two sessions of the University of Hawaii at Hilo summer soccer camp will be held on the Big Island.

Session I will be held on the Old Kona Airport Soccer Field from Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Session II will be held on the UHH Baseball Field from Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 between 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. http://vulcans.uhh.hawaii.edu/uploads/ws/stats/camp_brochure.pdf

The camps are open to players 6-years-old through high school seniors.

The camp in Kona costs $145 while the Hilo camp is $85. The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 1. A $15 late registration fee will be assessed after that date.

Applications are available at the UHH soccer office.

Players are asked to bring along a ball, shin guards, cleated shoes, water and sun block. Lunch and snack will be provided.

Staffed by former and current UHH soccer players, the camp will be co-directed by UHH soccer coach Cam Camarena and assistant UHH coach Brian Suskiewicz.

Camarena enters his second years as the UHH men’s coach and first year at the UHH women’s coach. Suskiewicz enters his first year on the staff. Both coaches are on the Hawaii Olympic Development Program coaching staff and hold USSF “A” licenses.
