Fake phone calls, emails and text messages claiming to be from CU Hawaii are contacting residents phishing for credit and debit card account information. One of the phone calls received by Hawaii247.com Saturday (May 30) was a recorded message saying there was ‘unusual activity’ on the account and gave a phone number to call back. According to CU Hawaii, they do not request this type of information via these sources.
