Senior services topic of library talk May 13

MEDIA RELEASE

Debbie Gray, program planner from the county Office of Aging, will present a program on senior services available in our community 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, May 13 at the Kailua-Kona Public Library. 

Through the new Aging and Disability Resource center, accessibility to programs and services will be greatly enhanced.  

Information will be provided regarding services including: Meals on Wheels, Transportation, Case Management, Home and Community Based Services, Elder Abuse, Legal Aid, Healthy Aging, Caregiver Respite, Training and Support Groups, Home Safety, Senior Employment, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, and Nutrition sites.  

This is an educational presentation and is offered as a community service free to the public. Sponsored by Friends of the Libraries Kona.
