Konawaena beat Kahuku 8-6 in first round action of the HHSAA Division II tournament at Hans L’Orange Field on Oahu. The Wildcats will play second-seeded St. Anthony in a 2 p.m. game Thursday.
Makua Lani lost 11-3 to Maryknoll and plays Kahuku at 9 a.m. in a consolation game Thursday.
The Honokaa Dragons beat Radford by a run 7-6 and moves on to quarterfinal action against the Division II top seeded team Kauai for a 4:30 p.m. game.
All Division II games are being played at Hans L’Orange Field on Oahu.
