Kamehameha-Hawaii girls beats Mililani 7-5 in water polo

The Kamehameha-Hawaii girls beat Mililani 7-5 in water polo Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in the first round of the Local Motion Girls Water Polo State Championships on Oahu. The team plays again tomorrow against number two seeded Roosevelt at Veterans’ Memorial Aquatic Center at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park at 3:15 p.m. during semifinal action.

Fourth seeded Hilo plays Kahuku in a 4:30 p.m. match.

Kamehameha-Hawaii:
1st quarter: Nani Davis (4:01), Ohi Parker (2:31), Ryenn Lyons (0:34)
2nd quarter: Ryenn Lyons (5:49), Ariel Imoto (5:10)
3rd quarter: Ohi Parker (4:44, 0:14)
4th quarter: none

Mililani:
1st quarter: Ashlee Franklin (4:25), Lindsey Carvalho (1:25)
2nd quarter: Jessica Sneed (3:17)
3rd quarter: Kanani Mazzone (6:06, 0:33)
4th quarter: none
