Ka Makani graduate Max Unger goes in NFL draft to the Seahawks

Hawaii Preparatory Academy graduate Max Unger went in the second round to the Seattle Seahawks today in the National Football League draft. Unger was picked 17th in the second round, 49th overall in the draft.

Unger played for the University of Oregon in the Pac-10 conference as a center in his senior year. While at HPA Unger was ranked among the country’s top 50 offensive guards by Rivals.com. His parents are Keith and Cynda Unger of Kona.
