Pose your pets – Get your entries in!
Entries for the 2010 Hawaii Island Humane Society Pets in Paradise Calendar are due by 4 p.m. Friday, May 8.Â
The calendar will feature two cover models plus monthly pin-up pets. All submitted entry images will be included and used throughout the calendar.
You can now submit your entries online at www.HIHS.org or stop by any Humane Society shelter to pick up or drop off your entries. Completed entries may also be mailed to our Kona Shelter.Â
Entries are $15 each and there is no limit to the number of entries you may submit.Â
Photo Tip Reminders:
HIHS recommends natural outdoor settings with uncluttered backgrounds to achieve the best results in the picture that should feature the pet as the center of attention. Â Images showcasing our Big Island paradise are encouraged. Any pet image may be submitted and could include, for example, dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, birds, goats or fish.Â
The calendar is a major HIHS fundraiser, which assists HIHS’s mission to care for our island’s animals. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
