Supporters of Mauna Kea CMP sign wave in Hilo

The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawaii joined forces with the Hawaii Island Economic Development Board, Hawaii Island Contractors Association, KIAA, HICC, several labor unions and individuals Monday afternoon in a sign waving effort at the Kamehameha statue in Hilo in support of the Mauna Kea Comprehensive Management Plan.

The Board of Land and Natural Resources will hold a public CMP hearing at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on Wednesday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
