Waikoloa Art Center Announces Watercolor Class with Evonne Cramer

ecramer-artworkWaikoloa Art Center is pleased to introduce watercolor instructor Evonne Cramer from California, who will be giving a class on Saturday, April 25, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, in Waikoloa Village! This class in fundamental techniques is for watercolorists who want to expand their watercolor skills and explore new methods and twists on basic water coloring. Students will gain new insight into what makes a successful painting, and how to improve their watercolor results. The class will consist of demonstrations and student practice on wet into wet painting, composition, negative painting, and painting fast and loose. Students will be shown how to quickly start and finish a watercolor, and will be practicing with more than one painting of their own. Evonne’s objective is to nurture skills by experimenting and developing creativity. A constructive critique will follow at the end of the class. Evonne studied at the renowned California College of Arts and Crafts. She has a lifetime of love of watercolor and is an experienced instructor.
