Sign wavers to support Mauna Kea Comprehensive Management Plan

Come wave signs with other Hawaiians, labor union members, business people, astronomers, students & teachers – to SUPPORT the Mauna Kea Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP)!

at the Hilo Bayfront

mauna-kea-cmp-tshirtThe Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawaii is joining forces with the Hawaii Island Economic Development Board, HI Island Contractors Association, KIAA, HICC, Several labor unions and many individuals to gather together on April 6 in a sign waving effort at the Kamehameha Statue. Please join us from 4:00 – 6:00 for this event which supports UHH’s Office of Mauna Kea Management and the Big Island’s own Mauna Kea Management Board in their effort to approve the Comprehensive Management Plan.

The JCCIH has 50 E Malama Mauna Kea T-shirts available to our members who will be attending the sign waving event. These shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the JCCIH office on Kanoelehua Avenue (Hawaii Printing Corporation building).
