Kenoi, cabinet at Kona Town Meeting

MEDIA RELEASE

Mayor Billy Kenoi is scheduled to speak 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 at the Kona Town Meeting at Old Kona Airport.

Kenoi and his cabinet members are expected to discuss their plans to address Hawaii Island’s critical issues:  The current economy and budget shortfall, West Hawaii’s roads and traffic, future growth management in West Hawaii and the plans for recreation facilities in Kona such as the old Kona Airport Park.

In addition to Kenoi, featured speakers include Director Public Works Warren Lee, Director of Parks and Recreation Bob Fitzgerald, Planning Director Bobbie Jean Leithead-Todd and Deputy Managing Director Wally Lau.

Bring your questions and concerns about West Hawaii’s present and future quality of life.

Kona Town Meetings are presented by Community Enterprises, a non-partisan, non-profit organization, to provide vital information on community concerns to Kona citizens. Light refreshments will be served.
