The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training workshops will be offered in Discovery Harbor, Ka`u on April 4, 11, 18, and 25th.

These workshops are hosted by the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency, the Fire Department, and the Hawaii County Resource Center, a program of the Department of Research and Development.

CERT Training consists of four sessions in which participants will learn about emergency response procedures and understand their roles and functions in the event of a major emergency or natural disaster that affects their community.
