Kai Opua Canoe Club general meeting

Monday, March 16 • 5:00 pm
by the Kailua Pier at Kamakahonu

All novice, experienced, keiki and their parents are encouraged to attend. All paddlers are needed. Coaches will be introduced and practice schedules set.

Dues for paddlers 18 and younger are free for the 2009 season.

Come learn about the heritage and sport of outrigger canoe paddling — Hawaii State’s official sport. Kai Opua is the oldest and largest canoe club on this island, and is dedicated to the culture, comradeship and competition of this wonderful sport. Continuing with our rich history, 2008 saw an undefeated season for Kai Opua as well as winning the AAA Division at the State Regatta on Oahu. We look forward to building on that success for 2009, and showing our club’s competitive spirit once again at this year’s
State Regatta, August 1 in Hilo.
