Auwaiakeakua Gulch, near Waikoloa Village, spills over Waikoloa Road as heavy rains soaked the west side of the island. The forecast for Wednesday night is for scattered showers with a chance of thunderstorms, clearing after midnight. The National Weather Service forecasts more thunderstorms possible for Thursday afternoon.

Auwaiakeakua Gulch, near Waikoloa Village, next to Waikoloa Road Wednesday evening as heavy rains soaked the area.
