Yamada and Sons has informed the county Public Works Department they will be working on the section of Kawaihae Road that fronts the entrance to the Waimea Transfer Station.

Road work is scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb 15. Two lanes will be open to traffic on Kawaihae Road and motorists should expect delays. Access in and out of the transfer station will be cut off because of the road work.  

Waimea Transfer Station, including the Hi 5 redemption and the recycle bins, will be closed Sunday, Feb. 15.
