…HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST THIS AFTERNOON…

SURF HEIGHTS ALONG WEST FACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND WILL REMAIN AT 6 TO 10 FEET THROUGH TODAY. HEIGHTS ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN THE ADVISORY AREA…PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH EROSION.
