INCLUDING THE CITY OF…MAUNA LOA AND MAUNA KEA ABOVE 8000 FEET
200 PM HST WED DEC 31 2008

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST
THURSDAY…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST
THURSDAY.

OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT OVER THE BIG ISLAND SUMMITS. THE SNOW LEVEL WILL REMAIN
NEAR 12000 FEET AND ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 4
INCHES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE
POSSIBLE WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS. THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL GRADUALLY
TAPER OFF BY EARLY THURSDAY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW…SLEET…OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
