Jason Braswell, of Kailua-Kona, won the 2011 Volcano Art Center Rain Forest Half-Marathon on Saturday.

His time of 1:23:10 just pipped Pete Boksanski, of Kapolei, who came in at 1:23:36.

Volcano's Lyman Perry rounded out the top three at 1:24:53.

On the women's side, it was a Big Island sweep. Rani Tanimoto, of Keakalekua, won in 1:27:51.

Trailing her were Kimberley Pierce, of Hilo, at 1:38:48 and Elda Carreon, of Kailua-Kona, at 1:44:43.
