UH-Hilo claims 2014 PacWest Men’s Golf Conference title

With three Top-6 finishers the University of Hawaii at Hilo claimed the 2014 Pacific West Conference title with a 20-stroke victory on the Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, California.

University of Hawai‘i at Hilo senior hurler Jessica Pepin has been named the Pacific West Conference Pitcher of the Week for April 9, 2012.
 
Pepin posted a 2-0 week, earning a win as a starter and as a reliever. She tossed a 14-0 shutout at BYU-Hawaii on April 6 and earned a 7-6 win in relief on April 7 at Hawai‘i Pacific. She posted a 0.00 ERA in 10.1 innings of action, struck out two and allowed nine base hits - all singles.

Behind Blake Snyder's championship play, the University of Hawaii at Hilo won the 2011 Hawaiian Airline Pacific West Conference Golf Championship at the Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah.
 
The freshman from Seattle, Wash. was the only player for finish below par and won by three strokes over BYU-Hawaii's Jon Scolari. Snyder turned in rounds of 68, 70 and 75 to finish at 3-under-par 213 on the 6,875-yard course.

First-team all-Pacific West Conference honors went to University of Hawaii at Hilo forward Justin Smith for the second time in two years.
 
The senior from Los Angeles, Calif. led the Vulcans to a 16-11 record and a fifth place finish in the PacWest with an 8-8 record.
