Search ends after three day search at Hookena Beach Park for missing person

An ocean and land search Wednesday (Jan 25) concluded after three days for a missing person last seen at Hookena Beach Park. During the search divers, a rescue boat and land crews were used to search the area for the male reported missing.

The Department of Parks and Recreation will be conducting routine mosquito spraying and treatments of the Hookena Beach Park facilities.  This is a preventative measure only as there have been no confirmed cases associated with the beach park since November.
