Surf is forecast to be in the eight to 12 foot range along South facing shores. A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday (May 17) for Maalaea Bay, Pailolo and Alenuihaha Channels, Big Island Leeward and Southeast waters.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a high surf advisory along North facing shores of the Big Island until 6 a.m. Saturday (April 6).

Surf is forecast to be in the 15-20 foot range. A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday (April 6) for all Hawaiian waters except for Maalaea Bay.

A high surf advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday (March 23) for West facing shores of the Big Island. Surf is forecst to be in the eight to 12 foot range for the Kona-Kohala coastline. A wind advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday (March 23) for Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea above 8,000 feet in elevation.
