Police have located 30-year-old Derek S.K. Fontes, who was wanted on two arrest warrants for violating probation and three bench warrants.
Fontes, who is being featured this month on “Hawaiʻi Island’s Most Wanted” was arrested by Kauai police on Kauai and charged with the five warrants after Big Island police received a Crime Stoppers tip.

The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” highlights a violent sexual assault that took place after Halloween festivities, a person who used a credit card that was stolen in a home invasion robbery at the Volcano Golf Course subdivision, and a man who robbed a Waimea pharmacy. The new episode begins airing Friday, December 4.
