Military convoys in West Hawaii between PTA, Kawaihae and Kona International Airport

U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps units from Oahu are scheduled to conduct various types of training here in October that will require equipment be convoyed to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) from Kawaihae Harbor and Kona International Airport.

Soldiers from the 2-6th Cavalry Regiment are scheduled to convoy from Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) to Kawaihae Docks Nov. 27 and 29. The convoys are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. Nov. 27, and to start at 9 a.m. Nov. 29. On both dates, all convoys should be completed by no later than 3:30 p.m.
