Big Island police have located two of the three men being sought in connection with a Puna assault and burglary investigation.
Twenty-five-year-old Johnny Leialoha of Kea’au and 22-year-old Jobe Leialoha of Nanawale turned themselves in at the South Hilo police station and were arrested at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday. Both men were released at 4 p.m. pending further investigation.

Big Island police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspected burglar caught on video surveillance during a burglary that occurred at a Hilo business.
On December 23, 2010 at about 6:49 a.m., South Hilo Patrol officers responded to a burglary at a business on the corner of Leilani Street and Kanoelehua Avenue in which merchandise was stolen.

Big Island police are requesting the public’s help in identifying two suspects caught on video surveillance in a Hilo burglary reported on December 15, 2010.
Detectives are investigating the burglary that occurred at Lagoon Center in Hilo in which electronic equipment and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reportedly taken.

ig Island Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a burglary investigation.
A 69-year-old woman reported that she awoke early Monday morning (October 18) to find a man in her Waiākea Uka home. She confronted the suspect, who was able to run from her and exit the house, leaving the area on foot.
The victim was unharmed in the burglary.

Big Island Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for an outstanding bench warrant related to a burglary, stolen vehicles and drug offenses.
29 year-old Kaulike Rice is wanted in connection with a recent indictment handed down by a Grand Jury. The indictment charges Rice as being responsible for a burglary which occurred in Holualoa this past September 10th in which computer equipment, vehicle documentation, lawn care equipment, a large amount of savings bonds and a significant amount of jewelry was taken

An 82-year-old Pepe’ekeo man reported that the items were taken from his apartment sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday (September 28). A witness saw a suspicious male teenager or young adult in the area between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt.

A burglary investigation in Kona has led to three arrests for burglary, drug offenses or both.
Responding to a condominium on Ali’i Drive in Kailua-Kona on Friday (September 3), police learned that three units had been burglarized. In one of the units, police found items from one of the other units, along with drug paraphernalia and identification belonging to 19-year-old Sarah Duarte of Kailua-Kona, who didn’t live in the condo.

Big Island police have arrested a 21-year-old Hōnaunau man for a vehicle break in and an unrelated burglary on Tuesday (August 10).
Tuesday afternoon, Kona patrol officers in Captain Cook observed a vehicle matching the description of a car that had been driven by an unknown suspect in an unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle case earlier in the day in Captain Cook.
