Building the University of Hawaii at Hilo collegiate athletic atmospheres begins this season as home basketball games will be played in the UHH gym.

"It makes sense to build your home where your house is," *UHH athletic director Dexter Irvin* said. "Our teams practice in our gyms. Why not play there and invite our friends into our facility?"

The UHH gym seats nearly 1000, has ample parking and is within walking distance for the 600+ students in the residence halls.
