Big Island Marlin Tournament August 24-26, 2017

After a 7th inning stretch that lasted 4 weeks, the Hawaii Marlin Tournament (HMT) Series returns to the field this Thursday-Saturday (Aug 24-26) with the 31st Big Island Marlin Tournament. 170 teams have competed so far in the first 6 legs of The Series.

Results of Keoua’s Calvin Kelekolio long distance canoe race

The short course was eight miles from Honaunau into Napoopoo and back to Honaunau, and included the women, juniors, and mixed crews. The keiki junior division was a four mile race from Honaunau, past Moinui point, then back.

Comanche is the first monohull to finish the Transpac 2017 race
