MEDIA RELEASE
The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation announces it will close the Dr. Ruth E. Oda Playground, located in Hilo’s Lincoln Park, from Monday, October 10, through Monday, October 31, so it may upgrade the safety surfacing and replace worn playground components.
Other areas of Lincoln Park will remain open daily, including the pavilions and restrooms.
The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks park patrons for their patience and understanding while it works to improve the playground.
