Police have located a man wanted for abuse and terroristic threatening

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 39-year-old Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez Sr., who was wanted.

Police located him Thursday morning (July 28) in Kaʻū.

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 39-year-old man who is wanted for abuse and terroristic threatening.

Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez Sr. is described as 6-foot-2, 170 pounds with brown hair. His last known address was in Ocean View.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Sheldon Nakamoto at 326-4646, extension 303.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
