Pahala Library to offer basic computer classes starting Tuesday (April 5)

Pahala Public & School Library will offer free basic computer classes on Tuesday evenings beginning April 5. Two 30-minute sessions will be conducted from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Computer Lab in the Adult Section.

Learn basic computer and Internet skills, and how to use the library’s online resources. Classes are open to ages 12 to adults. Class requirements include: a Hawaii State Public Library System card, computer keyboard knowledge, and how to use a PC mouse. If you don’t have a library card: bring a valid photo ID and proof of your current mailing address with you to fill-out an application form at the library. Call the library to sign up for a computer session.

Pahala Public & School Library is located on the campus of Pahala Elementary and Ka‘u High Schools at 96-3150 Pikake Street. For more information or to make an appointment for a computer class, please call the Library at 928-2015.
