Real Jobs Hawaii launches website for employers, job seekers

MEDIA RELEASE

Real Jobs Hawaii has launched its new, free, online recruitment portal for Hawaii employers and job seekers.

The proprietary website featuring Steve T. Yeti, mascot and ambassador, was developed in Hawaii for Hawaii and created to address the rising cost of job advertising for employers.

The site offers the functionality and customization capabilities of online recruiting sites, but with unlimited accessibility and is free.

Real Jobs Hawaii is powered by ALTRES, Hawaii’s largest staffing, recruiting and human resources provider.

“It’s a win-win for both parties, as employers can finally post all of their jobs—even the smaller, part-time jobs that normally wouldn’t justify the cost of advertising—without sacrificing the resume storage and applicant tracking capabilities they need,” said Brandon Suyeoka, Real Jobs Hawaii Marketing Manager. “With Craigslist now charging $25 per post, per category, to employers, this new site provides a completely free portal with all the functionality of a paid-for service. Meanwhile, jobseekers now have access to a large employer pool, while also enjoying the experience of using a site designed specifically for finding a job. We want to make it as easy as possible to get Hawaii working.”

Whether in the medical field or construction industry, a corporate executive to high school graduate, jobseekers of all backgrounds and experience levels now have access to hundreds of qualified job postings through RealJobsHawaii.com.

The user-friendly site offers kamaaina a tailored search each time and one that avoids having to spend hours sifting through superfluous mainland jobs.

All employers and jobs are manually prescreened by the Real Jobs Hawaii web team. Spammers are instantly removed from the site.
