Annual governor focus luncheon, business expo (April 8)

MEDIA RELEASE

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce (KKCC) presents the annual focus luncheon with Gov. David Ige at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8 at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay.

Sponsored by Bank of Hawaii and Hawaii Water Service Company, Ige will make his inaugural visit as governor to West Hawaii to speak on issues of importance to the community, and time permitting, answer questions from the floor.

This event is timed to coincide with the legislative session so community members can hear his priorities and share their concerns.

In addition, attendees can learn about new and existing KKCC businesses at the Chamber’s annual Business Expo, which precedes and follows the banquet. Times are 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Admission for the banquet is $46 for KKCC and Rotary members and $56 for non-members. Tables of eight can be reserved. Reservations are required by Friday, April 3, no refunds afterwards.

Registration is available online at www.kona-kohala.com or call the Chamber office at 329-1758.

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and advocacy for a successful business environment in West Hawaii. The result of KKCC’s work is a community of choice as reflected in our quality of life, business and individual opportunity and manifest respect for our culture and our natural resources.
