Missing Keaau man found dead Tuesday (Jan 7)

MEDIA RELEASE

A body found in Puna on Tuesday (January 7) has been identified as 49-year-old Jann L. Nakoa of Keaʻau, who had been missing since January 1.

At 3 p.m. Tuesday, an opihiki picker found the body about 100 feet from the ocean along the shoreline between Hilo and Keaʻau about two-and-a-half miles north of Haʻena Point. Fire Department personnel airlifted him out of the area.

Nakoa’s identity was confirmed Wednesday (January 7) through fingerprints.

Police do not suspect foul play. An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday (January 9) to determine the exact cause of death.

This is very sad news. Sincere condolences to his loved ones.

How about an update on the search for missing Keaau man “Jeffrey Meek”? There has been no news on him for weeks.

OF COURSE no update on the missing plumber I heard Susan someone say that Jeffrey Meek SCAMMED someone so on the Island of the Misfits some simply disappear! The newspapers don’t want to scare off tourists so RIP Jeffrey! I heard it myself, “You know WHAT happens to people that SCAM they end up in lava tubes!” when I was buying some bamboo furniture from a neighbor giving him (he’s in Puna in JAIL, running around dumping bodies into lava tubes or having sex with a underage girl since he’s a Registered Sexual Predator) from my old house above Kona Airport. I didn’t report him if I did registering his address across the street in Kona as his “residence” because that would mean he would be in Kona 100% of the time! His name is Loyal just in case you stumble upon a Haole that looks on the outside with blue eyes nice on the inside he’s the devil! POISON was what he fed cat lady next door’s her two cats & Simba so RIP cats! His name is now: DLLT = Disloyal Loyal Lava Tube! We all know Jeffrey isn’t coming home! Dumped in a lava tube or the ocean so RIP Jeffrey!
