Man wanted on warrants by police is located

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 46-year-old man wanted on warrants.

Ronney Keawekane is wanted for contempt of court. He also has a protective order that needs to be served.

He is described as a local male, approximately 6-foot-1, 270 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head. His last known address was on Railroad Avenue in Hilo.

Police ask anyone with any information about his whereabouts to call the Police Departments non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 46-year-old Ronney Keawekane, who was wanted on warrants.

He turned himself in Tuesday morning (November 18) at the Hilo police station, where he was arrested and charged with contempt of court and revocation of supervised release.
