MEDIA RELEASE

A second person was arrested in connection with an altercation in Hilo early Saturday morning (October 18) on the 400 block of West Kawili Street.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening Sunday (October 20) and turned over to the jurisdiction of Family Court. Because he is a minor, police are not releasing any other information about him.

On the same date, police charged 21-year-old Atkinson Nakashima of Pāhoa with attempted second-degree murder for his alleged role in the same incident.
