Tropical Storm Ana forecast to become Hurricane Wednesday (Oct 15) and track to Hawaii

The Central Pacific Hurricane Center is tracking Tropical Storm Ana which is heading towards Hawaii. The system is gaining strength and is forecast to intensify to hurricane strength on Wednesday (Oct 15).

At 5 p.m. HST Monday (Oct 13), the center of Tropical Storm Ana was located at 12.9N 142.5W.

1010 miles ESE of Kailua-Kona
970 miles ESE of South Point
1070 miles ESE of Kahului
1125 miles ESE of Kaunakakai
1095 miles ESE of Lanai City
1175 miles ESE of Honolulu
