Police charge Papaaloa man several offenses

Police have charged a 36 year old Papaʻaloa man for several offenses, stemming from an incident on August 2, 2014, in Hilo, as well as an incident in Laupāhoehoe on April 1, 2014.

Timothy J. Nacis, was charged with two counts of Criminal Property Damage 1St Degree, 4 counts of Terroristic Threatening 1St Degree, one count of Unauthorized Entry into a Dwelling, one count of Theft in the 2nd degree, and two firearms offenses.

His bail has been set at $200,000. The incident in Hilo involved Nacis threatening several individuals at a Kaūmana residence, breaking windows and making threats with a firearm. The Laupāhoehoe incident involved the theft of a large Honda generator.

Nacis is presently being detained at the Hilo Police Station Cellblock awaiting his initial court appearance.
