Military convoys from Kawaihae Harbor to Pohakuloa Thursday (July 3)

POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii – Oahu-based Marines will convoy from Kawaihae Harbor to Pohakuloa Training Area, July 3, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Convoys will use Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Kaahumanu, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway, and the Daniel K. Inouye Highway. Military police will escort the convoys.

The PTA Department of Army police are working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training and readiness. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care.
