Hawaii Police Department reports Highway 190 near the 16 mile mark has been reopened to all traffic

The Hawaii Police Department is having traffic routed through Kaiminani Drive and Waikoloa Road due to a traffic accident on Route 190 near the 15 mile marker. Crews are addressing a chemical spill from this accident as a tanker type of vehicle overturned. Motorist should avoid this location and expect delays.
