Vacant house destroyed by fire in Milolii Saturday (March 29)

Fire/rescue crews responded to a 9:29 a.m. alarm Saturday (March 29) to a Lehua Avenue home in Milolii on fire.

Crews arrived to find a single story home engulfed in flames and partially collapsed. Firefighers had the fire under control by 10:15 a.m. and out by noon.

Hampering firefighting efforts was the closest source of water for fire trucks being in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates.

The home was a total loss, there were no injuries reported the owner is unknown and it appeared to be vacant.
