Police locate Keaau woman reported missing

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 24-year-old Karissa Hirahara of a Keaʻau, who was reported missing.

She was found unharmed in Pāhoa on Saturday (April 5).

Police are searching for Karissa Hirahara, a 24-year-old woman, 5’5″ tall, 170 pounds, long black hair, brown eyes, glasses with pink frames. Hirahara was last seen with pink tank top and black shorts.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
