PōHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii – PTA employee Mr. Aaron Carpenter was honored in a town hall meeting as employee of the quarter for his outstanding contributions, here at PTA, on February 26, 2014.

Mr. Aaron Carpenter was nominated, selected, and then honored in a PTA town hall ceremony for being an invaluable member of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower team at Bradshaw Army Air Field, PTA.
The contributions Carpenter made, such as revising and updating PTA’s Flight Data computers and volunteering for numerous projects to include training of additional personnel. Carpenter also personally assisted with training two Marine Air Traffic Controllers to supplement PTA staff in order to extend unit training time.

Mr. Carpenter’s supervisor stated, “Aaron was lauded by both Military and Civilian Aviation personnel for his going above and beyond attitude” said Mr. Blake Doll, Air Traffic Control Facility Chief.
All of Aaron’s co–workers echo that, “he is an incredibly hard worker and can always be counted on”. In a very short period, he mastered tower operations at Bradshaw Army Airfield and then actively sought to train and educate others in order to overcome personnel shortages.

Mr. Carpenter has been an invaluable part of the PTA family for over three years now, and continues to contribute to his ever-changing career field.
