Kona Christmas Parade Winners

The Kailua-Kona Christmas Parade Committee has announced the award winners for the 29th annual Christmas Parade with it’s theme “Kona Kine Christmas!”, held Saturday evening December 14. There were 77 entries, with over 2,000 individuals in the parade, and thousands of joyful spectators lining the streets to watch. Winners may pick up their awards at the Kona Mayor’s office at the West Hawaii Civic center, beginning on Thursday, December 19. Please direct questions to Barbara Kossow at the Mayor’s office, 323-4448.

The Parade Committee wishes to extend a warm mahalo to our generous sponsors, dozens of volunteers, all the entrants for their hard work and excellent results, and especially to those attending for helping to make the 2013 Christmas Parade a great event.

  1. Please forward the application for the parade. I haven’t received it yet. This is for Team Kona Tae Kwon Do.We were in the parade last year.Thanks Rich 325-2215
