Old Kona Airport Park played host Saturday morning for the first annual IBEW Lineman’s Rodeo in Hawaii.

The event drew nearly 200 competitors from across Hawaii, the West Coast and Canada. Teams and individuals participating in events including the hurt man rescue and the pole climb.

Organizers HELCO and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1260 hope to bring the event back next year.
